We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
A note for families: Aunty Fi's Garden is designed for children to sing along and play. Because we know young visitors will be using this site, we have deliberately kept our data practices to an absolute minimum — no sign-ups, no forms, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising anywhere on the site. The sections below explain exactly what little data is involved and why.

If you have questions about this policy or your data, please contact us using the details above.
Aunty Fi's Garden is designed not to collect personal data. There are no sign-ups, accounts, forms, or comment sections anywhere on this site, so we do not ask you for your name, email address, date of birth, or any other personal information.
The only data connected to your visit is:
Because we do not collect personal data directly, we do not use personal data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. The limited technical server log data described in Section 2 is used solely to keep the website secure, reliable, and functioning correctly — for example, to detect and prevent malicious activity.
Where any technical server log data is processed (see Section 2), our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and operating correctly. We do not rely on consent, contract, or any other lawful basis, because we do not collect or process personal data for any other purpose.
This website does not use cookies. In particular, we do not set a PHPSESSID or any other session cookie — our pages don't use PHP sessions, so no such cookie is created. The only browser storage used is described in Section 2 (game scores saved locally on your own device) — this is not a cookie, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and cannot be used to identify or track you.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking tool on this website. We do not monitor individual visitors' behaviour across pages or sessions.
We do not share, sell, or rent personal data to any third party — as set out above, we do not collect personal data through this website in the first place.
The "Come Along and Sing" button on this site links out to our YouTube channel. When you click it, you leave Aunty Fi's Garden entirely and are taken to YouTube, which is owned and operated by Google LLC. We do not embed YouTube videos or players on our own pages — the link simply opens YouTube in a new browser tab.
Once you are on YouTube, that visit is entirely between you and Google/YouTube. We have no access to, involvement in, or control over what data YouTube or Google collects, what cookies or trackers they set, how that data is used, or how long it is kept. Your use of YouTube is governed solely by Google's own privacy policy and terms — not by this Privacy Policy — and we accept no responsibility or liability for YouTube's or Google's data practices.
For details of what Google/YouTube collect and your rights over that data, please refer to:
If you have concerns about data collected by YouTube or Google, please contact them directly — as we have no relationship with, or access to, YouTube's data processing beyond providing a link to their site, we are not able to access, amend, or delete any data held by YouTube on your behalf.
We do not collect or store personal data ourselves, so we do not transfer personal data internationally. Our website is hosted in the United Kingdom, and the basic technical server logs described in Section 2 do not leave the UK.
We do not keep personal data, because we do not collect it. Any basic technical server log data described in Section 2 is retained only for a short period for security purposes and is deleted periodically thereafter, in line with our hosting provider's standard log rotation practices.
Under UK GDPR, you have rights including:
To exercise your rights, contact us using the details in Section 1.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the UK regulator:

We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first — please contact us.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure.
